Cisco releases next generation routing system
Cisco has just announced its new CRS-3 Carrier Routing System. The new internet "backbone" directs traffic at up to 322 Tbps (over three times the speed of the Cisco's previous CRS-1). The company has invested 1 billion dollars and more than 600 person-years into this program. NoBug was involved in the verification of ASIC’s on the CRS-3 board.
